Garrett Schwartz is a Certified Equipment Appraiser of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) with a designation in Machinery & Technical Specialties. He is an active member of the ASA, currently serving as International Vice President. Garrett has served as a member of ASA’s International Machinery & Technical Specialties Committee, and was editor of the fourth edition of ASA’s foundational textbook, Valuing Machinery and Equipment: The Fundamentals of Appraising Machinery and Technical Assets, published in 2020.

Though based in Northern California, Mr. Schwartz has performed appraisals for clients across the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has performed appraisals for U.S. government agencies, local, regional and national banks, charitable organizations, business brokers, legal and accounting firms, private individuals, and business clients from sole-proprietorships to Fortune 5 corporations.
